Designer Spot Light

I have always been fascinated by the exploration of color. As far back as I can remember, I would melt my Mom’s “good” candles to create ones that I thought were of more interest with swirls of multiple colors melted into one. Blonde Barbie doll hair wasn’t safe from a good koolaid staining job and eventually I made my way to old school rubber bands, boiling water and RIT primary color dye at summer camp. Once I hit my teens, I’m sure my Dad would love to reminisce of all the things I accidentally ruined around the house with my dye. He has happily passed the tolerance torch to my patient husband who now is the lucky one helping me find new ways to remove fabric stains from some very random places around the house.
Furthering my captivation with color, I have found the works of stained glass as an exciting new venture to fulfill. After many training workshops, bandaids and cuss words, I am just as immersed with creating unique and bespoke stained glass pieces as I am with tie dye. I am not one to be boxed in to one discipline and love to be able to create freely. Thank you everyone for the continued support...now, back to my creating!
